Meeting Format: |
The outreach meeting will provide an opportunity for bankers, consumer and community groups, and other interested persons to present their views directly to senior management and staff of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (the Agencies) on any of the Agencies’ regulations. As this outreach meeting will focus on the effects of banking regulations on rural banks and their communities, the Agencies have requested that panelists give attention to these issues. |
Public Comments: |
Written or oral comments made by audience members will be reflected in the public comment file. Audience members who do not wish to comment orally may submit written comments at the meeting. In addition, any interested individual may submit comments through the EGRPRA Website during open comment periods. We request that comments relate to concerns with the regulations rather than with any particular insured depository institution. |
Registration: |
All individuals wishing to attend the outreach meeting in Kansas City should register. Because of space constraints, on-site attendance will be limited. The meeting will be video-recorded and publicly Webcast in order to increase education and outreach. By participating in person at the meeting, you consent to appearing in such recordings. |
Security: |
On the day of the outreach meeting, all audience members must present a government issued form of identification and go through security screening procedures at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. |
Parking Information: | There is no on-site parking at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. However, a commercial off-site parking lot on Warwick Trafficway has been reserved for outreach participants. A Reserve Bank-owned shuttle will provide continuous shuttle transportation at the beginning and end of the event to transport attendees between the Reserve Bank and the parking lot, at no cost to participants. |
