Virtual Outreach Meeting

September 25, 2024
12:00 p.m. – 2:15 p.m. EDT

On September 25, 2024, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation will host a virtual meeting to receive public comments about their regulations that may be outdated, unnecessary, or unduly burdensome.

This meeting supports agencies’ efforts to review their regulations every 10 years consistent with the Economic Growth and Regulatory Paperwork Reduction Act of 1996 (EGRPRA).

To date, the agencies have published two Federal Register notices identifying six categories of regulations currently subject to this review.

Regulations subject to discussion at this public meeting relate to 1) Applications and Reporting, 2) Powers and Activities, 3) International Operations, 4) Consumer Protection, 5) Directors, Officers, and Employees, and 6) Money Laundering.
